Your sign-in (and giving staff theirs)

How sign-in access works: one admin login for the books, and separate limited logins for employees.

1. The first login is the adminThe very first visit to your app shows "Create your admin login" — that account is the administrator for your whole company.
2. Signing in after thatEveryone running the books signs in from the regular Sign in page with that username and password.
3. Check who's signed inIn Books & Payroll, open the Users tab. The "Users & access" card shows who you're signed in as and how access works for your setup.
4. Staff logins are separateThe "Staff portal logins" card on the same page gives individual employees their own limited login that can only see their own pay — see the guide "Give employees their own paystub login."
